Trainee Gardener / Groundsperson

Goodwood, a beautiful and unique estate in West Sussex, is famous for delivering extraordinary experiences for the c.1 million people who visit each year.  The 600 strong team working here are key to its success.

A great opportunity awaits a Trainee Gardener/Groundsperson to join a highly skilled team based at the Goodwood Motor Circuit and Airfield.  

Tasks will include mowing; strimming; hedge cutting; turfing; pruning; renovating worn and damaged turf as well as supporting Events.

You will work alongside experienced gardeners / grounds staff in this role so a willingness to listen and learn will be important. You will also have a strong interest in grounds maintenance.

Occasional weekend work and flexibility in working hours may be required. Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
