Pig Stockperson

Goodwood Home Farm on the Goodwood Estate has been supplying food to the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years. It has 3,400 acres of organically managed farm land and is one of the biggest lowland farms in Europe, and largely self-sustaining.  Organic food produced and sold on and off the Estate includes milk, dairy products (including soft and hard cheeses) and award winning beef, lamb and pork.

A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Pig Stockperson to manage its outdoor, organic pig unit with 40 breeding sows, rearing all piglets to finish for our own butchery.

You will have a genuine passion for farm-based food production (especially organic) and animal husbandry as well as extensive experience of managing a pig enterprise. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key to your success.
